Does Harmony work offline?
Yes for material already in your local library. Playback, queue, themes and much of the craft UI are designed to keep working without a continuous connection. Network is only needed when you choose features that require it.
Where does my music live?
On your device, in the app’s local storage model. Harmony is not positioning itself as a cloud music locker. You remain responsible for your own backups of important files.
What is the generative mbira piece?
A reference VAMC grammar included as a demonstration of structure rooted in mbira logic — not a claim that the app replaces traditional performance or teaching.
Is there a subscription?
The product is framed as sovereign software you run, not a monthly access pass to a distant catalogue. Any future commercial path would be stated plainly — not hidden behind a free tier that withholds the library.
